The natural raw material renaissance is no stranger to Browns Brushmaking craft. We have historically relied on these as a staple for construction of Brooms and Brushware, more so prior to the mid century plastic revolution. For the most part and apart from special applications the wood, natural fibres and cast and pressed iron and alloy have Superior attributes and an ecological advantage over many synthetic products. The focus on how to maximise performance and sustainability and minimise waste is integral to Browns stepping back in time to move forward with a focus on their supply chain composition and ethos. All the usual apply, timber from managed resources, Agave, coco and palm fibre, iron, alloy and wire.
I guess you could say forward on 142 ( One Hundred and Forty Two Years) the brushmaking business could be having a “déjà vu moment“, truth is those raw materials have continued to be sourced and converted into the firms quality Brushware lines.
